Tamara Laskowski received a dual Ph.D. in Human Molecular Genetics and Immunology from University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston where her research focused on genetic engineering of immune cells with the goal of creating novel therapies to target immunodeficiencies and cancer. She subsequently joined MD Anderson Cancer Center for post-doctoral training in CAR-T cell therapy. She continued to advance in her career at MD Anderson and joined the immunotherapy team of Dr. James Allison as a project leader focusing on clinical trials for solid tumors, and, more recently, held the role of scientific director in the CAR-NK adoptive cell therapy program. In her role at Lonza, she leverages these experiences to expand and innovate our scientific platforms with the goal of advancing our clinical programs.
