Janet Hoogstraate is the CEO of NorthX Biologics, a CDMO and innovation hub, where she leads strategic direction and business development. With a PhD in Biopharmaceutical Sciences from Leiden University and an Executive MBA from Hult International Business School, she has extensive experience in pharmaceutical R&D and leadership roles since 1995. Prior to NorthX, Janet was Managing Director at Valneva Sweden AB. She serves on the supervisory boards of Mireca Medicines and Alzecure Pharma, and the Portfolio Management Committee of ENABLE2, contributing her expertise in drug development, academic collaborations, and industry leadership.
