David Schmidt is a sought-after protein analytical scientist, CMC expert and technical group leader with over 15 years of industry experience in the biomanufacturing and diagnostics arenas. David currently serves as Wheeler’s Vice President of Analytical Development and is tasked with building out the analytical capabilities for both the Wheeler Oklahoma City and Boston sites. His DS/DP analytical experience spans over 10- years with 90 different therapeutics from preclinical to commercial. David previously held technical, managerial, and leadership positions at Integris Baptist Medical Center Pathology Services, Excalibur Labs, and Cytovance Biologics. David Schmidt holds a B.Sc. in microbiology with a minor in chemistry from the University of Oklahoma. He is also working to earn his MBA from the Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma.
