Day 06: All Things Mad Max on the Great Ocean Road

The Team Gears Up to Drive the Great Ocean Road

The Day 06 journey has been our most scenic thus far as we travel 368 kilometers north along Australia's iconic Great Ocean Road. Taking a break from the breathtaking coastal views, we make a pit stop to cruise the Interceptor along Apollo Bay's beach. From there, we head into Lorne for some authentic Aussie meat pies at the Great Ocean Road Bakery, where the Interceptor attracts a steady stream of fans eager to admire our mean driving machine and chat about all things Mad Max.

Jessie, Jessie, Jessie, You've Not Got a Sense of Humor

Now that we're fed and entertained, things shift into high gear as we make our way to Little River to meet up with the bikers from the original Mad Max cast. Lucas makes his formal debut as Toecutter and the crew assemble to recreate the film's iconic bridge chase scene. Embracing their inner Road Warriors, we race down Little Rive Bridge Road with the bikers hot on the Interceptor's tail. With the adrenaline flowing, we prepare to make our way to Glenrowan.
