Dublin
Louth
Dia dhuit (hello) from Dublin and Day 3! This morning it was time to check out and pack up the cars because the Road To team is moving on this evening. From our hotel in Sandymount, we headed north through the Dublin Docklands — catching a glimpse of the stunning Samuel Beckett Bridge — proceeding up to Swords and the offices of CAI. At CAI, we interviewed Alice Redmond, Chief Global Strategy Officer, who provided her insights about the future of healthcare. We cruised through central Dublin and admired the Port of Dublin on the way to our next destination: IDA Ireland. At IDA Ireland, Nigel interviewed Rory Mullin, Head of Pharma. While Rory jumped into the DeLorean, the team took advantage of IDA’s balcony for an impromptu photoshoot. At Iveagh Gardens, Phill tried his hand at pronouncing some Irish words (how do you think he did?) and then the team headed to Phoenix Park where they had the opportunity to speak with Evun Wyer, the Integrity Ireland Country Director. A quick tour of some of Phoenix Park’s famous landmarks — the Wellington Monument, home of the Guinness family and the American Embassy to name a few — and then it was time to hit the road once more. Having had a lovely time in Dublin, the team headed north into County Louth. With a packed day of driving and sightseeing tomorrow, the team happily called it a night in Dundalk.
Alice Redmond, Chief Strategy Officer at CAI, talks to Nigel Walker about how CAI leverages its considerable experience, along with investments in automation and electronic validation, to help cell and gene therapy clients achieve end-to-end operational readiness.
