The new U.S. patent issuances broaden the coverage for several programs in Vedanta’s clinical-stage pipeline, including the lead investigational product candidate, VE303, which has just entered the clinic for the treatment of recurrent C. difficileinfections. The issuances also provide an additional layer of support for Vedanta’s therapeutic candidates for the treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Food Allergy, and other autoimmune and infectious diseases.
