Ten gallon hats but no charge in the Tesla in the Texas Triangle
The team on The Road to 50 States divided and conquered Texas on Day 31 of the road trip. They began together in Dallas, setting off at sunrise after an early breakfast to visit Alternative Biomedical Solutions (ABS) in the city known as Big D. But then a significant trip was required to San Antonio to conduct a second visit of the day at Scorpion Biological Services, which is building its second facility there. The Tesla wasn't going to handle that with charging in the timeframe, so George and Adama would head straight for the overnight stop in College Station, Texas, but not until they had done some more touring of D-town. Perhaps the touring they did lead to some range anxiety when they reached College Station, compounded by the lack of a Tesla Supercharger within 100 miles. They eventually found a slow charger, met up with Nigel and Lucas again, and the miscalculators needed to go to school – Texas A&M University to be precise. They mingled with some of the students there before finding Bryan, who gave them a bed for the night.
