Big Sky and some cowboy antics in Montana and Wyoming
After 17 hours of travel the day before, the team rose at 4.30am after only a couple of hours' sleep to do it all over again. Day 13 was Montana and Wyoming, and it would indeed be a virtual do-over with nearly 700 miles on the cards that would take nearly 18 hours. Part of the reason for this was the need to cross Montana, then double back to catch the highway south into the High Plains of Wyoming. There's nothing that a Road to 50 Stater hates more than traveling east when you're heading west, but there also aren't that many route options. It was worth it, as they found some gems in The Treasure State in the form of the Montana Bioscience Alliance in Billings and Montana Molecular in Bozeman. Nigel cooled off in a river and Adama got a fair bit of car painting in while the Tesla took four charges to get to the southeast corner of The Cowboy State.
