Red eyes not Buckeyes in Ohio and Michigan
Ohio is the Buckeye State, but it was red eyes for the team on The Road to 50 States. Their 400-mile drive from their adventures in New York State, combined with a necessary stop to charge the Tesla, saw them arrive in Painesville around 5:00 am. So there was little time for sleep before they headed off to Cleveland to visit Federal Equipment Company and Techceuticals. Then it was back on the road to Columbus, where they were fortunate not only to see the cell & gene therapy work being done by Andelyn Biosciences and Nationwide Children's Hospital, but also to meet Andrew Kilbarger – the first recipient of investigational gene therapy for Duchenne muscular dystrophy in 2006. Watch the video to see Day 7, culminating with another late charge into Michigan.
